제 1 회 HOLOcenter Open Studio 성황리 개최

 

2007년 11 월 3 일 오후 5 시 부터 열린 HOLOcenter 의 첫 번째 오픈 스튜디오는약 100 여 명이 참석한 가운데 이 주용 교수의 인사말과 더불어 시작되었습니다 . 참가자들은 스탭 작가들의 전시관람과 국내 유일의 펄스 스튜디오를 참관하였습니다 . 다양한 분야 ( 입체 , 설치 , 사진 , 평면 , 디지털 디자인 ) 의 전문성을 가지고 있는 스탭들은 강렬한 컨셉을 시각화한 작업들을 보여주었습니다 . 한 시간 가량의 리셉션 후 자연스럽게 전통무용 공연으로 이어졌습니다 . 높고 푸른 하늘과 북한산 을 배경 한 자연 속의 무대와 멀리는 한강과 목동 , 가깝게는 평창동의 한적한 가을 풍경을 내려다 보면서 아름다운 음악과 더불어 젊은 무용수들은 그들의 몸을 시간과 공간을 뛰어넘는 환영을 보여주었습니다 . 그것은 바로 홀로그램이었고 마음껏 그들의 마음과 신체를 하늘을 통해 우주로 날렸습니다 .

레지던시 프로그램을 운영할 기금을 확보하지 못한 관계로 프로그램 공모를 중단하게 된 점 양해바랍니다. 여러 방법으로 확보에 노력을 하고 있습니다.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS, 31 March, 20099
RESIDENCIES WILL BEGIN from May, 2009

 

1. For Artists with little or no practical experience:

Residencies for 2 studio week (15 studio shooting days), can work 1 more week for for preparation porpose. Brief Instructional session followed by production of Master and Transfer holographic artwork. (Slavich VRP-M Film valued up to $1,000) Artists wishing to explore holography for their first time are invited to submit proposal ideas. All selected awardees will be carefully assisted wherever needed through this exploration.

2. For experienced Holographic Artists:

Residencies for for 2 studio week (15 studio shooting days), can work 1 more week for for preparation porpose. Pulsed Master or Pulsed Master and Transfer (Slavich VRP-M Film valued up to $1,000.) We suggest that one carefully designed artwork is preferable over an expectation of numerous artworks. This work may be accomplished as a part of a larger installation or self-supporting concept.

3. Exhibition Final holograms result at HOLOcenter

 

Submissions:

A brief, one-page descriptions of project. Digital formated photos (JPEG), drawings, PDF files on CD/DVD media, or DVD video. NO SLIDES PLEASE.

홀로그래피 래지던스 프로그램 공모

 

2009년 3월 31일까지 마감합니다.

 

1. 작품제작을 위한 제안서를 제출 ;

특정한 형식은 없으며 간략한 작품 개념과 라프 스케치, 드로잉, 디지털 이미지, 사진등을 통해서 시각적으로 작품을 이해할 수 있도록 구성하면 됩니다. 그리고 작가의 이력서를 첨부해 주시기 바랍니다.

2. 특전 ;

펄스 레이저와 모든 홀로그램 제작을 위한 부대 장비및 설비를 2 주 간 사용할 수 있으며, 홀로그램 전용 필름 (Slavich VRP-M) 필름 과 모든 처리 약품(총액 약 100만원)을 제공합니다.

3. 전시 ;

완성된 홀로그램 작품들은 2010 년 초, 평창동 HOLOcenter 3층 전시 공간에서 래지던시 선정작가 구룹 전시에 참여할 수 있습니다. 모든 제안서는 독립 커미티 멤버들의 공정한 심사에 의해서 선발되게 됩니다.
